'GLADBACH goalie SOMMER tracked by an Italian club

In search for a new regular goalie, AS Roma management, according to latest Italian news, are tracking Swiss international goalkeeper Yann Sommer (32). Playing for Borussia Monchengladbach since 2014/15, Sommer has been a regular for German club throughout all the seven seasons he's been fending for Die Fohlen.
Previously hailing from Grasshoppers and FC Basel, Sommer had his deal with 'Gladbach extended back in November 2019 last, and deadlined to June 2023. Roughly worth 7 million euros at the time, the 1988-born stopper, turning 33 next December 17, is so far quite likely to stay put, and probably provide Borussia one last seasonal performance as a top goalie. Of course, a proper bid and financial agreement might get the tables turned.
