ATLETICO MADRID boss Simeone adamant over Napoli playmaker RUIZ
Rather unhappy with his ongoing Napoli stay, Spanish international midfielder Fabián Ruiz (25), according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, is making plans for a move out. Playing for Partenopei since 2018/19, former Real Betis Sevilla playmaker, previously tracked by a bunch of A-listers, including Real Madrid, Barcelona FC, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Juventus, has now grown into a major target for Atletico Madrid, since Colchoneros boss, Diego Pablo Simeone, is ruminating over handing out Saùl Niguez, and replace him with Ruiz himself.
Going through his most uneven season since he joined Italian football realms, Ruiz might on his hand enjoy the idea of landing back to his home country, and fend for La Liga title, as a Wanda Metropolitano hero. Currently on a deal with Southern Italy giants until June 2023, the 1996-born is earning a 1.5 million euros annual salary at the time, and is going to ask for a double-up, give or take.
