The Merseyside giants recently tied down Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Alisson and Virgil van Dijk on lucrative contract extensions. According to The Athletic, their next target is getting a new deal for Salah, who is in the final two year of contract at Liverpool.
The club are now working on putting a contract extension in place with a Egyptian forward. He is happy with life at Liverpool, but they have work to do on a new contract. He is currently on £200,000 per week but a new deal is expected to make him the highest-paid player in the Liverpool squad. There is confidence though that the Egyptian will commit his long-term future to Anfield in the coming months.
