Inter Milan are ready to reinforce their left wing-back unit and identified three potential targets. The London giants defender Marcos Alonso has been listed as among the three options, alongside VfB Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic.

With both the Bundesliga duo’s profile on the rise, Spain international can be perceived as a fullback option, although Inter Milan have been linked with a move for the left-back in the past as well.

Alonso himself faces an uncertain future at Chelsea, even though it appears the left-back has not been entirely ostracized by the German tactician. Indeed, Marcos has started all three of the London club’s games in the PL this term, even starring in the opening day victory over Crystal Palace with an excellent goal from a free kick.

His fantastic displays have kept Ben Chilwell on the bench whilst putting the Nerazzurri on red alert. Like most Italian teams, Inter Milan haven’t enjoyed a good transfer market, as they have had to deal with the departure of Achraf Hakimi to PSG while Romelu Lukaku has opted to return to the Blues.
