As the 2022 World Cup takes place in just over a year and the teams will have to continue their qualifying campaigns, the deadline is fast approaching.
And according to The Athletic, the health rules will be quite strict compared to the Covid-19. Indeed, the host country of the competition, Qatar wishes to impose vaccination on the players who will take part in this tournament.
The Gulf country has vaccinated more than 80% of its population, is approaching the threshold of collective immunity and does not want to take risks. Still, many players are yet to be vaccinated and this could rob many teams of their talents.
