Orlando City SC majority stakeholder Flavio Augusto Da Silva put out a press release today through the club's official website, announcing that he is in "advanced negotiations" with the Wilf family to sell the club. Together with the MLS side, the Wilfs would also be acquiring the NSWL's Orlando Pride.

Da Silva acquired the club in 2013, and Orlando SC officially became part of the MLS in March 2015. During his tenure, he brought some of football's biggest stars to Central Florida, including Kaka in 2014, Antonio Nocerino and Julio Baptista in 2015 and Nani in 2018.  The Wilf family will now enter the "soccer" business, while already owners of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings.
