Mexican producer Carlos Alazraki reportedly new San Luis owner
In an announcement on his web tv Aytipical TV, Mexican TV mogul and producer Carlos Alazraki announced he had finalized the purchase of football club Atletico de San Luis, whose previous owners were the same group that controls Spanish club Atletico de Madrid.
The club however, has yet to officially confirm the sale and insists they are still in the negotiation phase of the deal. Various sources confirm that if the operation goes through, the team would not be moved, responding to speculation regarding a possible relocation to another part of the Country.
Alazraki has amassed a fortune through his TV productions, one of which, produced in collaboration with streaming giant Netflix, "Club de Cuervos" deals with story of an ownership group of a fictional Mexican club, something that could now become a reality.
