Betis, Ruibal extends his deal until 2025
Real Betis has communicated through its official website the renewal of the contract of the attacking winger Aitor Ruibal until June 2025. The player's contract was initially expiring in 2022.
Aitor Ruibal (Sallent de Llobregat, Spain, March 22, 1996) came to the Verdiblanca discipline in 2015 to enroll in Betis Deportivo. He was a key part of the team that achieved promotion to Second B in the 2016/17 season. He made his debut with the Verdiblanco first team in 2017.
After several loans at FC Cartagena, Rayo Majadahonda and CD Leganés, Aitor Ruibal returned to Real Betis in the summer of 2020 to be part of the first team. Last season, Ruibal emerged as an important player for Manuel Pellegrini, playing 30 official matches, scoring two goals and distributing two assists. Sallent's winger has been crucial for the team's qualification for the UEFA Europa League.
