Andre Silva shone throughout the 2020/21 Bundesliga season. With 28 goals and eight assists in 32 league games, the longest losing streak of the center forward at Eintracht Frankfurt only lasted two games - on matchdays 13 and 14. Otherwise there were only five games in which the 25-year-old was not directly involved in at least one hit by the SGE.

For 23 million euros, Silva exchanged his Frankfurt dress for that of RB Leipzig in the transfer summer and apparently on the same move his scoring threat. One goal and one assist have now been recorded in seven competitive games, both of which were achieved by the center forward in a 4-0 win over VfB Stuttgart in mid-August. Since then, cheers have been in short supply.

“Andre is a very good player, we know his strengths and we know exactly how he scores goals,” says Leipzig's technical director Christopher Vivell in 'Sport Bild'. “He moves very skillfully in the penalty area. At the moment, as a team, we are not yet able to get him into this dangerous goal area on a permanent basis. But Andre is very hardworking and a hard worker. We are convinced that we will have a lot of fun with him. "
